An extension and basement conversion in a pretty greenbelt property

Living in the North Leeds greenbelt in a previously extended property gave our clients fewer design options than they might have preferred. Careful design made clever use of the existing basement and ensured the new extension didn’t push our clients over their allowance. The new office space has a dedicated entrance in line with planning requirements
Works were interrupted when the contractors discovered a well, which wasn’t indicated in historical plans. We ensured this was made structurally sound before continuing the work.
An elegant up-and-over roof light in the new extension brings much-needed daylight into the centre of the house. We paired this feature with a striking pivot door, creating a distinctive and modern twist to this beautiful home.
