Our clients wanted to create a unique, contemporary home that would sit comfortably within its woodland setting. The design centres on the use of natural materials, such as stone and timber, to reflect the surrounding landscape, while large areas of glazing provide a strong visual connection between the interior spaces and the outdoors.

Harrogate Residential Renovation & Redesign

This extensive renovation and redesign project in Harrogate was carried out over three carefully phased stages, transforming both the interior and exterior of an existing property.

Our clients approached us to design a bespoke new-build home in Harrogate that would make the most of its stunning rural location. The project aimed to create a contemporary property with double-height spaces, and extensive glazing to maximise light and capture panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Our team—comprising RIBA and ARB accredited architects—successfully secured approval for a large extension, not only for our client but also for their neighbouring property. In addition to the approved extension, the house underwent a comprehensive refurbishment. This included the installation of underfloor heating throughout the ground floor to enhance comfort, along with the integration of a cutting-edge home automation system.
